Dont have the box office numbers at the moment but I was watching Beyond the Trailers analysis earlier. Its at number one, with pretty decent numbers considering the pandemic iirc.

Over the same timeframe, the HBO Max app was downloaded 64% more and opened 8.9% more than in an average week. Forbes estimated that if all new subscribers watched the film and stayed subscribed to the platform, Zack Snyder's Justice League would result in around $266 million in revenue for Warner Bros.[204]

In Canada, the film became the most-streamed content of all time in Crave (streaming service) with 1.1 million viewers.[205] In Australia, Zack Snyders Justice League set new records to become the biggest premiere in Binge (streaming service).[206] In the United Kingdom, where it is streaming via Sky Cinema, the film was viewed by 954,000 households, with 458,000 (48%) watching in its entirety.[207] In India, where it was released on BookMyShow Stream, about 100,000 homes watched the film in its first weekend.[208]

#MortalKombat had more viewership in just 3 days (Fri-Sun) than Godzilla vs. Kong got in its first 5.

They did Kong wrong, but it was still the better film. It's sad to see Mortal Kombat doing better.

That said, the positive is that it means R-rated movies are viable. Yeah, it turns out that one-size-fits-all PG-13 rating isn't the immediate answer for everything.

(Now if they could get over their fear of nudity.)
