And downright dangerous

Driving home a bit ago, doing 70 in the right lane. Person behind me is tailgaiting. At 70. In the right lane.

As we're coming up on an intersection, they decide to pass. Turns out they also need to turn right at this intersection, so from the left lane, they speed up to get ahead of me, cut across me while slamming on the brakes, and barely miss a car sitting at the stop sign wanting to enter the highway.



Not sure why 1, they apparently didn't know where they were, and B, they didn't just slow down and merge back behind me to safely make their turn.

I really need to get a dashcam.

Definitely get a dash cam. If they cut you off and slow down you may be at fault because of their dick move.

Drivers like this definitely upset me too. Last year i was "at fault" for a fender bender with woman who appeared to be driving with one foot one the gas and the other on the brake.

Then she slams on her brakes to a complete stop on 70km/h road for no reason. But because i was alone and had no witnesses and my vehicle rear ended her, it was my fault...

Dash cams are crucial. I recently had a FedEx truck driver stop in the middle of the highway and almost cause a multi-vehicle accident. Then he decided to turn his truck damn near perpendicular to the right so he could make an exit at the last moment.

Hate those people. You gained one car length. Was it really worth it? Some motherfuckers think they're running Daytona.

Bad drivers put a lot of faith in the skill and attentiveness of others. I see people squeeze into gaps without signalIng all the time, and they seem to just feel they're owed that.

Also, there's this alternate merge near my new place and cars play chicken to the end of the merge basically every day.
