Don't know what the hell alot of you were smoking or offended by. Same stupid plot conveniences and silly martial arts movie tropes, but the action was top notch. I mean fuck, that Kung Lao fatality was perfecto

Only thing it got very wrong was the new MK theme song. They should've remixed that shit more faithfully than as some shitty Chainsmokers bs. Also, not nearly enough Scorpion and Sub Zero. Their rivalry and hatred for each other should've been the whole movie

Too much time was wasted on developing Cole. We didnt watch this movie to follow a new character. We wanted to see characters we know and love.

Cole was okay, just unnecessary and tacked-on since I would've guessed he'd take over the role of Scorpion mirroring how Liu Kang would represent his own ancestors. I mean why the hell show Raiden giving him Hanzo's spear hook if not for that plot device.

I havent seen it yet, but honestly Mortal Kombat should be one of the easiest video game movies to make. There is just so much awesome lore and characters I dont know why they went in the direction they did (this is just from what Ive read though)

For the record I did think MK 11 was excellent
