Do you want an argument, or do you just want a bunch of strangers to call you stupid to fulfill the inscrutable need you seem to have for any attention, regardless of how negative?

Yeah, no: Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was explicitly seeking to forge a secular Turkish nation. Its not even accurate to say the Ottoman Empire was the perpetrator, as he acted on his own and was disavowed by the (by then powerless) Ottoman government in then-still-Constantinople.

The genocide was partially a response to the Ententes plan to create a large Armenia, give a big chunk of Anatolia to Greece, and leave the Ottoman Empire a smallish rump state. The Turks committed the most atrocities because they ultimately won. It was all driven by toxic nationalism and a reaction against the failed multicultural empires of Austria-Hungary and the Ottomans.
Second paragraph is spot on. But the first paragraph seems to be attributing blame for the Armenian genocide to Kemal and if it is, then it's way off because your chronology is skewed. When the mass deportations and killings of Armenians began, Kemal was commander of the 19th Division on the Gallipoli peninsula and was busy fighting against Allied forces in the Battle of Gallipoli, not organizing death marches across Anatolia.

If the Armenian genocide was the pet project of any one individual, then it could be said the man responsible was Talaat Pasha, Minister of the Interior.

Gabbard proving once again why she's trash.

She knows what she's doing with that tweet, and her defenders do, too.

that's exactly it...the "well actually she's technically....BLAH BLAH BLAH" people know damn well what she's doing. Even more hilarious that they're trying to say those calling her out are acting like Trumpers, when she's taking a page out of the Trump playbook with a comment like this lol.

Imagine how the vast majority of civilized society would react if people were more worried about what religion the Nazis were, than they were about how bad the Nazis' actions were.

And yet that, except with a different group, is exactly what this topic is about.

Why would anyone attribute a genocide to a religion that literally tells you its ok to kill non believers in its holy book?
