Main protagonist changes from game to game. SE: Sophitia (defeats Cervantes) and Taki (defeats Inferno/Soul Edge itself and saves Sophia's life). SC1: Kilik and Xianghua (IDK who defeats Nightmare, but Xianghua is the one that defeats Inferno with Soul Caibur). SC2: Doesn't exactly have a main protagonist. Closest would probably be Raphael (lost to Nightmare but managed to pierce Soul Edge's eye which separated Siegfriend from it, but he didn't intend to do the latter). SC3 + 4: Siegfried (only time where back to back games had the same main protagonist).
