one time a friend and i got coffee at a local cafe. they were doing renovations inside, so they let us drink our coffee outside. we forgot to pay lol.

Once me and my friends stayed at a hotel. We went to the bar in the restaurant there and ordered some beers. We chatted until like after midnight. Then when we went to pay, there was no staff. Everyone went home. We figured maybe they'll charge it to the room so we went to bed.

They didn't. So oh well. Free beer

I've never done it and can't forsee a situation in which I would. My senior year of HS though, the Student Body President and 3 other guys did at a mom & pop restaurant down the street from the school. Students at the school were immediately suspects. The following Tuesday (it happened on a Saturday, IIRC) the waitress and the manager of the restaurant went to every classroom and ID'd those responsible.

It was pretty easy to ID them. They bragged about it at lunch and after school on Monday.

3 were kicked out, banned from graduation but got their diplomas in the mail in the Fall. The Student Body President was stripped of office but not kicked out. I ran for the seat and lost by 100 votes.
