They could get Al Capone when nobody else could. They're definitely a bigger forced to be reckoned with than Batman.

I love those old Batman shows. I think this story is based off an old comic.

One of the YouTube comments said how Capone got away with some of the most horrific and blatant crimes around, but it was only his tax evasion that made authorities finally go after him.

Says a lot about our society.

The IRS doesn't like the Joker so much. They've arrested the Jokers in the past for tax evasion, but in this case, they don't want to be caught in the crossfire again. They let the Joker pay up the taxes but send him on his merry way. After the Joker pays up, however, the IRS comes back and demands that he turn over his "shaggy-dog story."

This is the second time that the Joker has gotten away with not paying his taxes. In the first case, a group of gangsters got away with paying their taxes but managed to get thrown in prison. They had the auditors come out to them and to check to make sure they weren't trying to cheat the system. So the FBI comes out to them and asks them to help them. The second time around, they get so busy with the Joker that they don't even have time to bother the IRS! The Joker is getting away with tax evasion so hard
