He tried to get rid of it in a way that the cop couldn't see. The idea of "who is to blame" does not even lie within that moment. The cause of a death was all the events which narrowed everything down into a whole second of reaction where a human cop had no clue who was going to be shot first.

I love how CE attributes super human qualities to the police. Like this officer was supposed to be The Flash and slow down time so he could fully absorb the situation. Im not sure you can even form a fully coherent thought in .9 seconds. The truth is this kid had a gun and spun in less than a second. We have the ability to freeze frame the moment, the officer did not.

Do you believe the kid should have acted differently in that short time frame? If so why do you have the expectation on a 13 year old?

* He shouldnt have been out at 2am shooting at cars.
* He shouldnt have run from the cops.
* He should have dropped the gun immediately upon seeing the cop car and not run down the alley to ditch it.
* He shouldnt have spun around while throwing a gun.

You can keep saying he was only 13 but the truth is we have juvenile detention centers filed with 13 year olds who made horrific decisions and are being held accountable for their actions. I know this personally since my brother was sent to a juvenile detention center at the age of 14.

This was a tragic event. It was a shame and a horrible loss of life. But like it or not, the consequences are the direct result of the 13 year olds actions. Im sure if the cop could freeze frame time then he would have made a different decision. But he had to live in that split second moment, not watch it in slow mo on YouTube. Trying to paint this cop as a predator out to kill minorities is dishonest and sickening.

The kid didnt deserve death as a punishment, but the officer didnt deserve to have someone with a gun running from them and then whip around after knowing there were recent shots fired. Like...dont do stupid shit like running with a gun from a cop regardless of how old you are in that situation at 4am or such.

Im a minority so anyone that thinks its a white thing is just wrong.

I also have a general hate for most cops since most of the ones Ive known are failures at other shit or were the druggy bros in high school that stayed in their hometown and knew everyone so they got into that group.

Its shocking how little empathy people have today.

This kid was shooting at cars and running away from the police with a gun and then he turns towards a cop quickly and the cop defends himself not realizing the gun was dropped and the kid is some innocent poor saint and the cop is a monster.

Its a sad situation but the kid made horrible choices that led to this and the cop did what he had to to defend himself. Its tragic but the kid should not have been shooting at people and running away from cops with a gun in the first place.

Security footage showed the kid and the guy with the gun, firing at a passing car. Maybe the guy was the one firing but the kid was at the very least hanging out at 2am with someone while they were shooting at cars.
