i always used the abandoned flat. love that place. the house was outside of vivec but it had a plant you could move that revealed a secret door to a massive underground lair. it had a training area with a working dummie to hit with your weapons and archery targets (both gave xp), some shelves to put all your weapons on to look cool, a swimming pool, an alchemy lab, and some other stuff. it was fun just to explore tbh i loved that place

i remember this one i had back in the day that was a thieves den with an entrance in the balmora river... i had another cool one in balmora over by the temple that was pretty cool and big. I also remember this neat one that was in caldera and it had dummies downstairs and a merchant you could buy from. i think it was called the zelda estate? the last i remember are the abodes, there were several you could get in different cities but i only remember the balmora and gnisis ones

bonus question - your favorite already in game homes? where you pick out a nice house and murder the owner and keep it for yourself. i think we all used the fighters guild quest one in balmora at least once, or that one mansion on the other side of town that was part of a house hlaalu quest iirc

I love using mods to make and decorate homes. My favorite might have been the Hobbit hole one someone made. It was close to Vivec I think.

There was a cave somewhere between Pelagir and Vivec I liked to use. Close to where a bandit tried to steal from you. It was a long cave and I'd light it up with different multicolored lights.

There was. certain house in Caldera I liked. I liked Caldera in general. It just had one random guy in it so it was easy to take.

I'd usually keep a little apartment in Vivec too for convenience. I think it was always empty anyway.

There was a mod that added a banking system ala Daggerfall which included loans and properties to buy. Those were cool too. You could even get your own Telvanni mushroom house and a huge castle.

Wish I could remember and show them. I had to switch computers recently and I haven't redownloaded my Morrowind stuff.
