EricDraven59 04/11/21 12:08:38 AM #1:	So if you here can pick one game that you feel has an outstanding story what would it be? I would go with Bioshock Infinite. The whole thing with the scenes you go through plus the ending stuff make it a very smart and well thought out story. I feel like its much deeper than most games that have came out over these last few years. Spiritfarer is incredible, you are basically the grim reaper and have to work through people's problems keeping them in limbo before they pass on to the afterlife. It has kind of Disney cartoon graphics, but the effects are modern, it's very heart felt, and has a deep crafting system like Minecraft, except you develop a gigantic ship. It's emotional and really unique, i've been gaming heavy since Atari and I never played anything like it. --- Above us lay the burdens, Below us lay the truths. I know it has a lot of cliches and is a pretty simple story but I think it's a good table setter for a lot of the common lore in Zelda games (yes, I know ALttP technically did most of those first), and has a lot of memorable moments that have some punch to them. I've certainly played games with more depth to the story but there is not really a single one that jumped out to me. I also don't really like it when a game is obviously trying too hard to be talked about primarily for its story. That's not really why I play games, and movies can generally do a better job.
