The 5 officially launched last month but it's a special Tencent branded Chinese market model that isn't compatible with the accessories. If all you care about is the phone you can get that right now. The "real" version with all the bells and whistles launches in a few days in India. What most people don't really see is that newest samsung flagship is getting the $800 it costs spread across your mobile bills. You simply pay for the whole thing at once with the ROG Phone.
