Am I going to be blown away, when my new monitor arrives?
Or is it just something you get used to pretty fast?

I was going to upgrade about a year ago, then the pandemic started. Managed to get this for under $200. "Gaming Monitor 144Hz Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS 1ms"
It's this one, they already raised the price

it's not life changing like getting an SSD or something but it's a cool upgrade, i went from 60hz to a 120hz monitor a while back and when i played overwatch the increased smoothness was very nice, felt like i was playing a pixar movie or something

144hz being a standard confuses me. wouldn't 120hz or 180hz be better so when a video or game is 60fps the frames all last the same amount of time?
