And I just left a mean note on somebodys clothes.

we have 12 washers and 10 dryers, and they all run on an app where you pay and then it tells you how long until everything is done. So I bring my clothes down and all of the washers are open, but all ten dryers are full and done. No big, I start my clothes in the washer. 45 minutes later, I get the notification that theyre done. I go down, and all ten dryers are still full and done. Im like what the fuck.

so I go back upstairs and wait 20 minutes, come back, no change.

so I pulled the clothes out of two dryers, folded them, and put my clothes in the dryer.

come back an hour later when I get the notification that my clothes are dry, and no change. All the clothes I folded, still there, all eight other dryers, still full and done.

so I left a note on the pile of clothes that I folded that said:

the laundry area is a shared space between all of the tenants at this apartment complex. When you do not collect your laundry in a timely fashion after it being done, you are taking up space for somebody who needs to do laundry. It is clear that you are a selfish asshole who does not care about anybody but themselves. I have folded your clothes, but I have taken one piece of clothing from your dryer and burnt it. Each time you leave your clothes in the dryer, I will continue to do this. Have some respect for other people, or walk around naked.

I didnt actually take any of their clothes and burn them, but I would give pretty much anything to see their face when they read that note.

do you think they were angry? Or do you think they thought oh my gosh it never occurred to me how rude it was to leave my clothes in the dryer like that, Ill never do it again!

I hope the second one but I know its not the second one

They sound like the type of person who does not give a fuck so I would assume they dont care unfortunately.

I would not fold someone else's laundry, but I would leave it in a pile on top of a dryer/washer. I'm that kind of dick. Done it plenty, never dealt with anyone pushing the point. It's already wrinkly for them as they left it.

People will never care. Therefore I will do my thing and not care about them. The note will just give them ammo, but notes are good sometimes.

There is no top to the dryer, they are stacked on top of eachother.. and I thought about not folding them but I was like fuck.. Id have if somebody touched my shit when I accidentally went longer than I should have on some random errand..

but then when they werent gone by the time my shit was dry, it was time for a note. And I think my note is more powerful on top of folded clothing than not, so Im happy with my decisions be

that dirty microwave is still fillable. A full dryer is not.

It's not a perfect metaphor but you get the idea
