I was super excited when I got C6 Noelle and let me tell you - she did NOT disappoint. I literally prefer her over any of my 5-star characters (Diluc, Keqing, Klee, Mona, Venti)

If you are ever going to spend money on GI, now is the time to do it. Get Venti from the banner, he's in my opinion by far the best character in the game.

You can't buy Venti he's in the gacha. You have to buy the gems and then gacha. It takes roughly $200 to guarantee you get him but you might get lucky.

Sucrose is the only 4 star I can't stop pulling. I never once pulled Ning, but I have definitely, absolutely pulled Sucrose around 10 times.

You can reasonably get everything you want without spending any money at all, to be honest. Where things become sketch is during limited-time banner pull events, because the amount of in-game earnable currency is usually only enough for 3-5 pulls per day, and it takes 10 pulls to get a "rare" which isn't guaranteed to be the banner character.

You can do everything in the game without pulling for anything except possibly the spiral abyss except the only reward for the spiral abyss is more gems to pull with so it doesn't really matter if you don't do it.

Nicely done. I have her at either C4 or C5. Need to grind the Viridescent domain for both her and Venti. Ended up drawing luck this banner and pulled Mona, then Venti about six pulls later.

I wound up pulling Venti twice within a relatively short number of pulls (less than 20 iirc). After the first Venti, I was mostly trying to finish Sucrose.

But the crazy thing for me is I had exactly 160 primogems and for some reason, which I normally don't do, I figured "I'm about to go to bed so I'll just pull one Wanderlust Invocation (the regular non-banner pull)" and this happened:

You know, I've never really thought about it but I wonder if that actually was my Soft Pity

IIRC my last 5* from the Wanderlust was in November

To be honest though, pulling a 2nd Venti is "lucky" in the mathematical sense, but his Constellations aren't very good. He's basically 95% his total power at C0. And his C1 is literally useless except for Archery events, since you never actually use his main charge attack ever.

A 2nd Venti is meh but C2, through 6 are fucking op as shit. A C6 Venti basically has Sucrose's entire kit and the 4pc VV bonus built into his character and then that stacks on top of the VV he wears plus physical resistance shred.

This is a bald faced lie. As a F2P, for every banner you go all in trying to get the featured 5* you're gonna miss the next 2 or 3 banners. The game is super stingy with its premium currency, the rates are ass, but at least it's very fair in the sense that you know exactly when you can expect a character to drop for you and how much you're gonna have to spend for it.

Except the weapon gacha which is ass, but you never pull on it as a f2p so who cares.

You could be right. That is quite a gap between 5* pulls on that banner, but most people splurge on the others.

I will have to look at Venti's constellations and see what they are like. At work right now, about to be off lunch break.

Kinda hoping for a weapon or Diluc from the standard banner. Keqing C0 is good enough for me, and I don't see myself needing Qiqi or constellations of the other characters anytime soon. The only 5* weapon I have is a Wolf's Gravestone, given to Xinyan.

why not just post in the genshin impact general?

Yeah F2P is a different game. I have only have 2 5 stars, and I've been playing since November ish.( Saving for Ayaka since Zhongli banner)

why are there so many damn currencies? i'm not sure what's what, but i blew 8 wishes i had somehow or something on one "pack" and got bennett, chongyun, and noelle.. all 4 stars and a few 3 star weapons. can anyone equip anything? seems odd

tried to get venti w/ one wish but blew all my earned shuriken

You got 10 wishes for 8 fates on the beginner banner. Noelle was guaranteed, the other 2 you got lucky and Bennet is one of the best supports in the game.

If you want a 5* character you're looking to spend around 75 wishes minimum for a 50/50 chance on their banner, and another 75 for a guaranteed drop if you didn't get them the first time.

You can get lucky of course, but the odds aren't in your favour.

Sucrose is the 4* I've gotten the least at this point. Only 4* I have at C4. All the rest are either C5 or C6. To make things worse I did some pulls on Venti banner and pulled him 10pulls after I got a Keqing dupe on Hu Tao banner making me lose my guarantee pity.

Imagine having a geshin impact topic and not even mentioning best girl
