lol "they don't agree with me" isn't a legal reason to cancel a network

TBH MSNBC and Fox News should both go away because extremes are bad on any side.

No one said anything about that ever. This is about preventing fake news. That applies to fox. It does not apply to msnbc.

MSNBC definitely brainwashes their audience with skewed/misinformation the same way Fox does but with a different target demo, but I already know we have different views on this so I'll just agree to disagree.

Fear of pissing off Fox viewers.
https://fair.org/extra/with-a-la-carte-cable-pay-for-what-you-watch/
Part of the explanation would seem to be fear of the Fox audience. One industry source quoted by Adweek (10/3/11) put it, The viewers are completely convinced that it is the one thing that stands between our tenuous grip on democracy and total chaos and dictatorship on the left. This fact has not gone unnoticed by Fox. News Corp head Rupert Murdoch (Australian Financial Review, 11/5/10) once boasted that the nature of the Fox audience meant his company could play hardball with cable distributors:

We said to the cable operators when we put the price up, we said, do you want a monument to yourself? Cancel us, you might get your house burnt down.

As bad as FOX is don't even begin to act as if other networks aren't guilty of their own biases as well. Albeit to a lesser degree but damn they are guilty as well.

There is bias and there is fake news. They are not the same thing and they are not comparable.

Fox News along with the Fox Broadcast channel were not part of the Disney acquisition.

Irrelevant. Cable television doesn't have to obey the FCC.
