The quality has obviously gone down a bit over the years, with some folks leaving(I do think it sucks that Mike left), James having less of a hand in the writing of AVGN episodes and such, but it's still usually fairly solid with the occasional gems (Earthbound was fantastic). And anytime he's just talking about movies it's always interesting and entertaining. And concerning his move into full-time streaming: I don't mind watching James get angry at old games because that's only a character. Like others have said, he's gone through all of the games he played in his childhood, so he can no longer channel that genuine frustration he felt as a child with the new games he's reviewing now, though there are exceptions (Plumbers Don't Wear Ties and Hong Kong 97, for example). He's a movie guy, but people don't seem to care as much about his movie stuff as they do AVGN, so he has to keep doing what makes the money, especially since he has a family to care for now.
