it's either relentlessly calling women bitches or talking about how "she better watch out, these guys haven't seen a woman in months." even for criminal goons it's too much. if you go find jack ryder and talk to him he immediately starts popping off about "i'll show that bitch who's the best reporter in gotham." i don't usually complain about this type of stuff but it just feels gross

I've lost so many friends over the years over it

People will brush this criticism aside with sarcastic comments about how of course the bad guys are bad, but at the end of the day it's a choice made by the people writing the game and yeah it sets a weird tone for the whole thing

Shrugs I don't think tc is wrong. It makes sense for Poison Ivy to be sultry, but not really the rest.

And I hated catwoman's design in arkham city, the ps3 era character model had quite the manface but with cleavage so it looked eugh.

Did jack ryder really say that? Seems uncharacteristic. And isn't the creeper meant to be a superhero and/or one of the good guys? Also it would have been cool for him to be in the Arkham series.

That's most likely what they were going for, it only becomes weird when you're listening to bitch this bitch that bitch bitch bitch for 16-20 hours. A lot of games kind of miss the mark on repetitive henchman talk, but it was super noticeable in AC for this reason specifically.

also I too like the Batmobile and found it incredibly fun

batman is muscular and manly in the traditional sense. Every single street level thug has arms thicker than their necks. Even an old man like Gordon still looks in shape.

only characters whose physical flaws define them (such as the penguin) are not mens health cover material.

no one is out there demanding more man boobs, beer bellies, bald spots and double chins.

let games be games ok?

While I get why the emphasis on the Batmobile in Knigbt was disliked (especially for the Deathstroke rematch), I still feel that the finally delivered on promise of an open-world Gotham City made up for it.

I largely didn't mind the Batmobile anyway. Surprisingly enough the Batmobile racetracks were the things I was most looking forward to in the DLC.
