Perascamin 03/25/21 3:30:07 PM #1:	Hey, it seems y'all are having trouble understanding what consent is in 2021 somehow so here is a brief guide: Consent is NOT someone telling you no MULTIPLE times, but you keep on pestering them. If someone isn't ready, they aren't ready. Do NOT pressure them. It is important to understand that people, when under pressure, will sometimes turn a "no" into a "yes" because they don't know how to react without coming off as hateful. When you receive a "yes" in this manner, it's sexual abuse. Consent IS someone accepting your advances and them ALSO returning said advances. If you're cuddled up with someone and want to make a move, just ASK if what you are doing is okay if you're unsure. You are NOT going to coming off as some "loser with 0 game" when you do this and be rejected. In fact, your partner will most likely APPRECIATE this dialogue and place greater trust in YOU. It is important to understand and respect boundaries. This is something that applies to all relationships! Always be sure that your partner is comfortable with your actions and have them understand what you yourself are comfortable with. Really. Do NOT pressure someone if you feel like they're uncomfortable or not ready for a sexual relationship with you.
