Childhood is liking Nurse Joy, Adulthood is realizing nostalgia isn't a substitute for quality, and the franchise has been stagnant for years despite all the one-off gimmicks that ultimately contribute nothing because they won't make it into the next title so it's time to stop purchasing the products and consuming related media until the developers can learn to innovate and expand instead of living inside their tiny box as they've done for well over a decade.

When you look at Jenny's attitude she's pretty alpha for a female. Poor brock had literally no chance with her, he was half-alpha at best. Actually he was pretty alpha and intimidating during the gym leader episode but they quickly turned him into a hopeless romantic joke as the episodes progress.

It would take a very strong man at the top of his game to dominate her.
