Literally Every scene has some inclusion of it. And some scenes are entirely shot in slowmo. Im willing to bet that at least 1/4 of the Snyder cut is slowmo What a fuckin hack --- Like 90% of CE topics are the same way lol. Zack Snyder is a director who has made a career mostly out of comic book adaptations/superhero movies. In a comic book, often you will have stylish still-frame panels with text on them. As you read the text with a particular image in the background, it invokes a certain feeling. You can study the image, see all the details, read all the words at your own pace and really absorb the story. In a slow-mo scene, it's the same thing. You can really soak in the moment; you can feel everything that's happening. There's no thought of 'wait, what just happened?' because you experienced every single detail as the director intended. Your eyes are saturated with the event, and the action is allowed to take a root in your thoughts while you listen to dialogue, music, or the like. It may not be for everybody, but I love when a movie lets a scene breathe and be appreciated. It's engrossing if you let yourself enjoy it. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. I didn't love it, but it rounded out a lot of the issues from the first theatrical release, it told a cohesive story instead of being a mess and jumping around everywhere. It's legitimately better overall, and worth the watch, even though I really only give it like a 7/10 compared to the 4/10 or worse the first Justice League was. For a DC fan, this is what they should have gotten to begin with. There are some really great uses of slow-mo in the MCU as well, I agree. I think it should be used more often. One of my favorite scenes in the entirety of the Marvel Universe is the scene near the end of Infinity War with Thanos marching toward Vision, swatting aside everybody who tries to get in his way while a deep, sinister note plays. One by one, they try, and Thanos is just steadily dismantling the last line of desperate defense, slow-mo and all...culminating in Captain America making his final stand, a mere mortal versus a God with five infinity stones. He fails, but you can see the effort on his face until the very last moment--he would have done anything in his power to stop the threat, but he simply wasn't strong enough. That was an insanely cool scene. Meanwhile, Snyder uses slow-mo more liberally, but it fits the style of his storytelling very well. I think it should be used more often. One by one, they try, and Thanos is just steadily dismantling the last line of desperate defense, slow-mo and all...culminating in Captain America making his final stand, a mere mortal versus a God with five infinity stones. He fails, but you can see the effort on his face until the very last moment--he would have done anything in his power to stop the threat, but he simply wasn't strong enough. That was an insanely cool scene. Meanwhile, Snyder uses slow-mo more liberally, but it fits the style of his storytelling very well.
