Intermittent fasting really changed my life. I wasn't obese but I was definitely a little over weight. In a year I dropped at least 50-60 lbs. The first week is the hardest but after you get used to it you start feeling great. I'm almost at my high school weight which is insane.

Better off eating more meals, so you don't end up binging on the one meal you allow yourself.
I eat twice.

Not really.

I'd need a bench, barbell, dumbells, pull up bar, and a couple hundred lbs of weights at the very least.

And id want a squat rack really badly.

Its better than nothing but definitely not the same as having access to a decent gym.

I overstated it i guess and doing anything is obviously far better than nothing, but there's still a lot to be said for having everything and having no concerns about pissing neighbour's off.
Fair enough once you get to a certain level in the "hobby" but most people would probably be fine with a dumbbell setup and maybe a multi-purpose bench

I got a stupid ass piano i wanna get rid of to put my bench in my house. But pianos.. Yeah. They heavy

Theres so many conflicting information for one. Are grains good? Bad? Keto? Paleo? Mediterranean? Weight Watchers? Etc. People also want a quick fix and dont realize that you should really aim for a pound of weight loss a week. For someone who might be looking to lose 50 lbs thats incredibly daunting.

The biggest question is, why are people getting fat in the first place? I feel like there needs to be more done to help educate people on eating healthier, smaller portions. Sugar is also being snuck into all our food and creating addiction. Kids are getting hooked on sugary foods at an early age and it progressively gets worse. There needs to be a better budget for schools to provide healthier meals.

If you wanna lose weight then eat healthy with moderate junk food. Be active. Diets don't work neither does eating less. And cut back on snacks. People snack way too much. If you wanna snack have some raw nuts or things like baby carrots in small portions. And stop drinking too much sugary stuff. Stick with water with the odd alcohol or sugary drink. It's really not that hard unless your medications are making you fat.

I did get all of that for around 2500 USD, you do need the space for it though and not everyone has that, I think it was well worth the investment though

I cannot say it enough: sugar is THE reason why everyone is so fat. Carbs are fuel and you cant exercise without it. Cutting carbs is NOT a fast track to losing weight. Its a great way to burn yourself out in exercising and dieting and I never got why people think the is is worse than sugar because its not.
