I used to think oh its all the smart white kids in the advanced class but there were black kids and spanish kids all passed over.. black girls too all because their styling of their hair was too unfamiliar and considered not beautiful enough this pro positivity thing was nice for the kids who grow up with it and onward, but the realizations of this shit and then some will leave an impression on many people for the rest of their life until we unfortunately die out as an in between of history a history that will unfortunately go not noticed and glanced over - all we got Ishtar people of the past and people too concerned about Trump and what hes doing now and the popular TV shows of today but what about the psychology and therapy for these kids? What about all the babies that had to choose between their identity from their culture and the person they want to be? Before we even actually started seeing each other outside of work when we were just clearly going out of our way to eat/sit together on break I started to notice the looks and people obviously talking shit about us.
