mine rrod'd first at 2.5 years and again at 3 years just after warranty ran out

I bought it from a friend and it did it 6 weeks later. Microsoft replaced it for free.

Launch model. It RRoD'd twice. By the time the second one happened though, I already owned a PS4, so I just retired the 360 at that point.

Mine was busted when I bought it, but still under warranty. The owner didn't know, so sold it to me for 30, with some games and an extra controller. Then I sent the console off on the warranty and got a replacement. That replacement lasted me until I got my PS4.

My original early model did. I replaced it with the redesigned black 360 S model & it's still running great 11 years later after a ton of use.

Launch model RRoD'd 1 month after launch. Never bought another

I had to RMA my original 360 twice before giving up and buying one of the 360 Elite's that didn't have the same issue.

My first one did, but it happened (a couple of months) after I accidentally dropped a lasagne on it, and the cheese dripped in through the cooling vents. I did manage to tear it open and clean it out, but whenever it warmed up it smelled of lasagna.

Once only, it was the Elite I think. Lasted me a good 5 years.

It was a bit weird too, whenever you booted the damn thing you had a CHANCE of RROD appearing, if it did just try again, rinse and repeat until it worked.

Got an S later on, when that shit got too nervewrecking though.

My first one didn't get that specific failure.

It did a different red ring, and I had to turn it on and switch the HD/SD switch on the output on every start-up.

Worked like that for years before finally dying.

Second one still works.

3 times, voted 2 in error. Launch model.

First time Microsoft fixed it. The second time I found instructions to fix it online and Macgyver'd it myself till it finally died in third one. At that point I just got the Elite version and never had a problem with it.

1 one with the launch model.

I'll say this, I did the Dead Rising "5 Day Survivor" achievement and during the entire time, I was afraid of my Xbox 360 dying in the middle of it. The achievement requires you to survive for 10 hours straight nonstop. There's an even harder achievement called "7 Day Survivor" that takes 14 hours to get. Never attempted that one.

Zero. Never had a 360.

My brother's never red-ringed, and neither did mine. He had a regular and I had a slim.

I had the third revision and it always worked perfectly for me
