First of all, I know pretty much nothing about coding or programming, which is why I am curious.
With websites like StackOverflow being pretty much used by every student, is it easier to learn coding/programming than it would have been 20 years ago? Its harder now because more tech, more information. But also easier because you no longer need a formal education to get into the field.

With websites like StackOverflow being pretty much used by every student, is it easier to learn coding/programming than it would have been 20 years ago? i'd argue yes, there's a lot more support at your fingertips than one could have dreamed of 15+ years ago Or is it actually harder now due to other reasons? lower barrier to entry might mean more competition for entry-level and generalist work, but it seems like there are way more opportunities as the field continues to expand, especially if you specialize in more bleeding edge areas --- ...
