Only things I know are zombies and that the game is aggressively average. Like a 7.7/10

I did like 30 minutes or so tonight before work. Seems like it's gonna be a pretty standard open world game with zombies.

Its actually super underrated imo. More like an 8.5/10.

VERY long...Longer than it should be. Still liked it a lot. Definitely worth the price I paid for it (approx $20).

It feels like an open world Last of Us, albeit slightly under budget.

8.2/10, would buy a sequel.

Hordes are the best part of the game.

If you're playing on a harder difficulty, be careful about drawing attention to yourself with gunfire. The freakers (zombies) are attracted by noise from both you and other people. The guns you start with are hot garbage and you can easily be overwhelmed by 3-4 freakers. So it pays to be careful.

Also, if you don't mind some of the difficultly being removed, you get a military spec SMP9 for taking out 10% of the hordes in the game. If you go after the smaller hordes using hit and run tactics, you can get that gun pretty early on and it remains powerful until the end of the game.

The first 3-5 hours are significantly worse than the rest of the game imo.

Yeah, it's an underrated game, imo. The only issue I really had was the bike was weird to control, but even that you get used to after an hour or so. And I think they patched it later on, but I dunno if I misheard or not.

I put in another 90 minutes or so. Cleared out some ambush areas, learned to make a nail bat, got some nice medical stuff for my boy Boozer, and helped a megalomaniac have a radio station once again... I might kill him later.

I've heard it takes like 1/2 the game before it really hits its stride and becomes really good.

It was an average game when it came out, they updated the shit out of it and I would honestly give it a 9 out of 10 now

Playing it on a smaller TV screen (32inch) is really flawed cause their UI is so small IMO.
