ive recently got a lot of enjoyment out of spamming shit on rocket league lol

im so fucking bad at this game and people lose their minds when I talk shit and suck ass looool

its crazy how seriously some of these people take casual matchmaking lol

I think I would be one of the people you are talking about, and I've never even played rocket league

I try not to do that anymore but I've done it before so I get it. And also I think it's a little different in casual. I still like to spam but just stuff like "Wow!" or genuine compliments. And have to admit I'll revenge spam, it's very satisfying when someone what a saves you when you make a genuine effort, so you hit them back any time they get scored on

You'll have to forgive me, because I only play cooperative games, but I don't see the funny part in being terrible and being ok with that and thinking it's fun to try and ruin other peoples experiences by trash talking

Even in competitive games, there has to be some sort of comradery right? And a sense of wanting to help someone that improve that isn't as good as you? Kind of like a teaching game in chess or go or something

And isn't it easier to improve when you set out to do so with a good attitude and respect for your competitors?

I don't think I understand the mindset of "remaining terrible at something can still be fun, especially if you upset those around you by shouting expletives"

You don't shout expletives in rocket league unless you're on voice. There are quickchat options and a popular one is to say "What a save!" when someone lets a goal in. Also I doubt he plays shitty on purpose, he's just saying he makes fun of people's play even though he knows he's not as good as them

You should have seen the messages I got playing Soul Calibur 4. I just held down and did low kick repeatedly. Didnt even move from starting position. Won more than I lost and people would absolutely lose it.

I do 'what a save' a lot but I also do it when I whiff a save so I think it balances out

I used to spam a lot on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. I don't play online much so was just dicking around. Zeus had such a great level 3 finisher and it was so easy to spam that I enjoyed it.

using sly was more fun since you can stealth/stealing and outright counter spam well also avoiding some lv 1.2.3 finishers by cloaking

players building up the finish bar only for sly to steal it and use it on them hahaah

players also stopped using the world salty against me because they get this come back: Thats explains why your mom is so dehydrated
