i didnt expect this, other mousufied games were mostly just the characters of the anime/game thrown in the middle of hundreds of mindless enemies. this game feels like half musou half persona mid combat, and a full persona game outside, they did a nice job. its annoying that the battles finish so quckly but im sure its because im very early in the game.

The DW team actually tries when it's a licensed property so I'm not surprised. Their attack on titan game was the same way.

I keep reading stuff like this, and its making me want to buy it.
I was going to wait for bravely default 2 on the 26th for my next game, but this is making it difficult. i kinda wish theres a way to face the camera to your direction. other games usually do this when you block, the only other way seems to just lock on to an enemy or press r1, but it kinda ruins the flow of the combat because it stops the time and im not really about to use a persona, the stage is usually very small so i could really use that kind of feature.

They gave a similar treatment to Dragon Quest Heroes 1&2 which were also based on a turn based RPG franchise, so it's not very surprising.
