The rattling sounds of the wooden wheels behind you are strangely calming. You keep a firm grip on the handles at your side as you pull the wooden cart forward.

Gundilf peeks his head from inside the cart. I gotta say, brother, you make a fine horse.

You smirk. The fuck kinda compliment is that?

He chuckles and leans back into the cart, keeping a close eye on the students and making sure they dont fall out. Nice o that ol lady at the inn to give this thing up.

Heh, prolly why twas free. He sits up straight and looks up at the starry sky. In particular, he notices something that looks like a second moon. Thats a new one. You seein this, brother?

You look up to the sky. A second fucking moon, great. Sure had that one on my Wizard Bingo.

The sunlight creeps through the horizon, with its gentle rays greeting your somewhat tired eyes. It also shines a bit on Gundilfs resting eyes, but luckily did not stir him.

That light also illuminates the entrance of the city. You approach a drawbridge that sits above a giant moat of water. Past the drawbridge is an enormous wall that extends miles to the side. A gate sits directly in front.

Two blue-robed guards salute you. Welcome to Wizard Atlanta! Hope you folks enjoy your stay! Says one of the guards while he raises the gate.

The other guard pauses him. Now hold on there, you arent kidnapping those folks in your cart, are you?

You blink. Uhhhh, I dont think so?

The guard stares at you intently. Then he shrugs. Good enough for me! He signals at the other guard to continue raising the gate.

You nod in respect, though truth be told you had an irrational urge to pop that guards head like a grape. Hopefully it didnt show on your face.

You walk the cart into the main square of the city, where a huge fountain sits in the middle. On it is a giant statue of a hooded lady that is almost saintly in nature.

In fact, water is present everywhere in this city. Small canals line the sides of the streets. Waterfalls seem to be a common attraction. A fish flops out of an artificial pond. A bird swoops in and steals it away.

You roll your eyes. Gaudier than its ever been.

A) Investigate about Goldius while youre here, then go to your old friend

No time to waste. You walk through the glistening streets, passing by a handful of people. Not a very dense crowd out here. They're probably enjoying the indoors.

Eventually you reach an inn. You park the cart just outside the entrance and kick--er, open the door.

Now why would you kick the door?

Before you could step in

"Now there's a nostalgic sight!" Shouts the innkeeper lady with glee.

One thing that immediately stands out to you is that she looks a lot like the one back in Rockenrolland.

She vaults over the counter to meet you directly at the door. "Y'know, that cart's been around our family for generations! Never thought I'd get to see it kickin' again after all these years! Wonder why we stopped usin' it..."

You scratch your chin in confusion. You also want to throw the cart at her--

So, lookin for a room? Its on the house if my sister trusts ya with our cart!

With some spare rope you found lying around, you tie the steel chair to your back. You take a glance at the students safely asleep on the bed, and Gundilf resting against the wall.

Squash the students heads--

With that, you head downstairs and set out for adventure. The innkeeper waves goodbye.

Flip her off--

You wave back.

Back at the big fountain. You take a small sapphire-colored coin out from under your hat and

Here for the wishing well? says a random guy passing by.

You tilt your head, wondering who the fuck.

He takes it as confusion. Oh, you havent heard of this citys main attraction? With enough tributes, our savior Queen Watermoses will grant you any wish!

You stare into the eyes of the giant statue of the fountain. It stares back at you, looking condescendingly.

You huff. Fuck that. You want a wish granted?... You toss the coin into the fountain.

A glowing fish made of mana flies out of the water, then starts swimming away in the air.

...Go look to those who actually have their hand extended to you. You say sternly, before running after the mana fish.



The mana fish leads you to the outskirts of town, where the base of a tall snowy mountain is.

You look up to the summit, obscured by clouds. That old shit...are you really gonna make climb this big-ass rock?!

The fish circles around, taunting you.

The sound of groaning rings out from your back. Ugh...hey pal! What the hells happenin? Where are we?

You start hiking up. Getting my hat fixed. Could probably get your curse fixed too. Whats the last thing you remember?

Uhhh, I think we were in prison?

You keep hiking. The edge of the path crumbles a bit. Hmm, thats not good. What about before that?

I think we were in uh...a cart or somethin. He rattles a bit. Fuck pal, my memoriesre all over the place.

Im gonna need you to behave, or Im throwing both of us off a cliff.

He stops rattling.

Good. Now uh, dont panic, but I think your curse is getting worse. At this rate, youll probably completely turn into a chair. The kind that doesnt talk.

He starts rattling again.

You turn your body so hes dangling over the edge of the path.

He stops rattling.

I fucking said dont panic, yeesh. Now as I said, well get you fixed up. You come across the end of the path. The only way up is a ledge far above you. ...Well, once I find this asshole! FUCK.

Frustrated, you do away with normal hiking and crouch down, funneling Chi to your legs. Then with great force, you spring up dozens of meters.

You keep the momentum by kicking off the sides of the rocky walls. Eventually, you land on some stable ground far above the base.

The mana fish circles around you, keeping up just fine.

Looking down, you notice that a small avalanche happened where you jumped off, and the parts of the wall you kicked are chipped off. If youre not careful, you might just bring this whole mountain unto the city.

Let them all die--

Okay no, thats a bit fucked up.

A) Continue springing up with Chi (might pose a problem much later)
B) Keep hiking up normally (poses a problem now)
