Fucking patches of ice everywhere covered by a thin layer of snow. One second I'm walking on regular snow, then the next thing I know my feet are in the air then I came down hard on my back. Winded myself right good.

Thankfully I didn't hit my head too hard. I knew of a dude who died that way.

Fuck you winter, I'm tired of your shit.

yeah i remember when i lived in seoul, south korea having to deal with ice on the sidewalks

one of my routes to school involved a small, thin sidewalk that went down a hill. id fucking slide down that hill every time it was brutal.

Last time I did that I landed full force on my shoulder blade.

Couldn't lift my right arm above my head for like two weeks.

I did that a few months back walking the dog on my hoverboard.

She saw a squirrel off to 3 oclock and took off so fast my feet were at eye level. I had time to think well this is how I go.

I try to avoid ice if I can, but on days like this morning you can't even see the ice patches cuz of the layer of fresh snow covering it.
