I played through Y1-Y5, Y0, & LaD, but I only liked the first two on the PS2.
not entirely sure why, but I thought that LaD would be what got me back into the series, but it didn't, and I don't think that I'll be playing any future installments. --- The means of production should belong to the collective unconscious ... Copied to Clipboard!

I haven't liked 3 or 4 as much as 2 but still liked them. LAD might be my game of the decade

3 and 6 are probably the worst in the series followed by the original 1 and 2

Recently started the series from Yakuza 0, up to 3 right now. Loving the saga so far. This is what I like about video games thats narrative driven, when I want some story I progress the main narrative and when I just want to mess around and have fun I enjoy the open world.
