Depends on the game. Online FPS i'm good, especially Battlefield games, i'm regularly top 10 overall on the leaderboards each game. I'm a pretty high level NHL player online. I suck ass at RTS online but still like to try. I'm top notch at Worms games but I suck at fighting games.

It's been all over the map. At my current age, casual for most if not all competitive ones. Didn't used to be the case.

The height of my "online" presence was Company of Heroes 1 Pro 1v1's. I was ranked #5 in the world (re: their online leaderboards at the time) at a time and helped to push a ton of Panzer Elite meta and guides when gamereplays used to be a site. Now that's all long gone and behind me, another game never captured me the same.
