The halftime show, from my observation, was able to attempt new things that most shows couldn't because of the fact the stadium was more-or-less empty of people. They were able to build the stage for the performance up in the stands. They were able to shoot that scene in the yellow mirror hallway because he didn't have to be present on a stage the whole time. He was able to use the entire field as a stage at the end because it wasn't flooded with people enjoying a concert.

Overall I felt it was neat to see.

it was patently different from every other halftime show i've seen which was basically like "middle of the field rock out fest"
like an extended music video and the fact that he tried to do some art type shit with it was on it's own a stark contrast
