Bit of both. From what I've seen, the people who talk investing here are legitimately interested in the topic and sharing what they believe is good advice, but you'd also be stupid not to believe that every single one of them saying "it's time to buy X or y" hasn't already fully invested in that stock or currency.

I get rid of most of the threads on the matter since they come off way to trollish and/or cultish, but the rare occasions I discuss it I'm being serious. I haven't put very much (comparatively, i recognize my luckin that i was able to do that at all) into the market, probably less than 3k, yet I just crossed the 20k threshold on thursday

I put one whole paycheck in last month, putting in 2-300 a check in ever since. It's nice to have my money make money on its own. For the most part at least, I'm down in a few but I'm up 100 bucks overall. Might be 200+ once AMC rebounds.
