I work loss prevention for a grocery chain. Since covid hit they had us stop working in plain clothes and instead wear a uniform and stand at the front entrance of the store.

Most stores are too crowded with shit at the front so literally everyone that enters and leaves the store come within the 6 feet limit of us.

A lot of people still wont wear masks or if they do they wont put it on until theyre like right in front of me. Lots of people leaving will also rip their masks off before they get out of the store, also right in front of me. Other departments have plastic shields at the counters they can stand behind but all we got were some flimsy face shields that would do jack shit with some covidiot breathing on me.

The pay is extremely good for what basically equates to being a door greeter but Im the most likely person in the store to get infected.

Ive already lost a friend to covid. I have a lot of coworkers like you who took the job just so they can rough people up to help with their tiny egos. My health is more important than trying to show strangers Im a big tough man. Kindly fuck off though.

I would like to know as well. My job has me interacting with customers all day and most of them are antimaskers trying to fight guidelines every step of the way and this is in a tourist town that refuses to close down despite having very high numbers
