Remember how I sold my old games for over a grand on eBay and she said she never got it. Despite a tracking number and delivered status. eBay sided with her today and gave her a refund.
so I stopped any eBay transactions on my account so they cant withdraw it. I called her local jurisdiction police. They responded to her house and she had everything already FOR DAYS. she messaged me as soon the officer left and he called me with the update. This is the first time I've heard ebay side with a seller when you have 100 percent delivery confirmation proof. That doesn't make any sense.

Wow, I hadn't thought of that. I lost out on $500 on a sale I made. Buyer claimed porch pirates got it and eBay sided with them and took his money back from me.

Question -did you have signature confirmation or just delivery? Cuz you need signature to protect yourself if its over $750.

How did you convince the cops to go there? I didnt convince them. I called their non emergency and that I knew I was being a victim of fraud right now. So I started a fraud case here and but I called them to make contact with her party before I filed a report. She played the oh I just found it game so its hard to prove a crime. So she probably freaked out and realized its time to do the right thing and I just got the email, they appealed and gave me back the money.
