Or does it still run everything you want it to, at the settings and resolution and frame rate you want? If it does - then it's not time to upgrade yet. If not, sure, go for it, and RTX 3080 is pretty up there as far as being futureproof goes. (The 3090 exists, yeah, but with the increase in price to step up to that, and the fact that it could still become obsolete due to new features rather than insufficient performance, kind of feels a bit too risky.) EDIT: If you meant this as an outright question of "is the 3080 more powerful?", then yes, very much so.
