I was hoping there would be some epic revelation, something like in Se7en, where all the pieces come together.

But there really wasnt. I guess theres the idea that Jared Leto didnt actually kill anyone and Denzel was just haunted by a mistake he made in the past. Now Rami Malek has to deal with the same thing.

Neat movie, though. Great performances and atmosphere.

I thought it was ok, but the whole first 2/3 of the movie end up being a total waste of time. They spent way too long hyping up this serial killer mystery, only for that plot line to be completely abandoned in the 3rd act. Why show the first scene of the movie with the girl hiding from him? Why show the scene of the runner getting abducted? Why hype up the connection between Denzels old unsolved murders and the new ones? So much in this movie literally meant nothing.
