Yazarogi 02/03/21 2:26:43 PM #1:	Take a game like Mass Effect, it looked and played like a game that would be released on those systems at the time (2007) Then, we got a sequel Mass Effect 2, it came out 3 years later and it pushed the envelop of the system, the difference between the two is nearly night in day, improved graphics and gameplay especially. What's going on with game development today? Waiting 16 years for the next installment in a franchise (GTA 5 to GTA 6, Skyrim to ES6) waiting 8 years for a game that plays worse then a game from the early 2000s (cyberpunk). Going gung ho on online only pay to win mechanics (Diablo 3 AH before the revamp) decent game companies shitting the bed after they get big (Dying Light to Dying Light 2) Releasing the same shit with a different skin every year (CoD, Assassin's Creed) I mean... what the fuck happened, where's the passion? where's the soul? Are we heading for another E.T. They cater exclusively to blue check streamers and focus about 99% effort to online gaming and DLC/micro transactions. I also ignore the disasters outside of laughing at the funny parts. I loved the Fallout series, but I also got a lot of entertainment out of 76 being a disaster. There's a long gap between Elder Scrolls because they're developing three games between releases. Like I'm playing Hitman 3 now and love it.
