Disregarding his bodybuilding career and his political aspirations. 100 years from now, will he be remembered as a star of the silver screen a la Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Tyrone Power, etc.?

What do you think?

Yep. He's basically the most iconic action star. One of the last before blockbusters started to transition to franchises instead of movies carried by a popular lead.

Dude has memorable one-liners from hits like terminator and predator to bad movies like jingle all the way.

He's cemented his legacy well.

He's not a great actor but he's definitely going to remembered as an icon of the industry.

This.

His legacy will live on even if people don't know who he is. Then they'll find out and be like "oh, that's where that came from."

He's more of a Charles Bronson than a Clark Gable.

People greatly overestimate what makes something iconic. In 100 years he will have a blip about how popular he was because of his accent and one liners. Arny is great, but he won't be anything memorable in 100 years.

Charlie Chaplin movies are about to be 100 years old and he's still seen as a legend.

Arnold is in some of most iconic movies of his era. Terminator alone will likely cement his legacy assuming the planet doesn't implode.

Very few people today have seen a single Charlie Chaplin movie. Or anything from that early besides The Wizard of Oz. He's just that guy who doesnt talk and looks like Hitler.

You don't need to see the movies to know who they are.

It's also easier to access than ever. People still listen to classical music from centuries ago.
