The Government has unveiled a $12.1 billion support package for the New Zealand economy, with almost half of the cash to be spent on a wage subsidy package for all coronavirus-impacted businesses.

Those full-time workers eligible for the package will receive $585 per week from the Government, paid in a lump sum package of just over $7000 covering a 12-week period.

The Government is also raising benefits by $25 a week, starting April 1, and doubling the Winter Energy Payment.

Eh. I don't think that alone eould of day d it. The spring breakers and all the likes would of did what they wanted either way if there was no resistance. We raised a country of the biggest entitled pieces of shit on the planet. If America was a parent, all it's done is reward all it's childrens bad habits and abandon the ones it didn't. So it's children either think they're entitled to everything or wouldn't believe a word it said anymore because they fell out of good graces when they abandoned them. You can't have community in times like this when you constantly pin everyone against each other

It could of helped and kept the situation more tamed tho
