Jakobs guns tend to have a "snap" while Hyperion weapons have a lot of resistance.

Yes. I just beat bl2 without completing the first game and I wish I did it in order

Almost nothing important happens in 1 that can't be summarized in a couple sentences. 1 barely even has a story.

And 3 doesn't really follow up 2 in a meaningful way imo. Tales from the Borderlands was much more of a sequel to 2 than 3 was.

I'm saving you. It's a sequel. Events from the first game tie-in to the second game. Gameplay is improved, but still really the same. Play in order of release.

Seriously, Ive played and beaten 1, 2, and the pre-sequel.

Played 3 three as well, the other person was right that you will probably like it more since you wont be like wait, what!?.

I would definitely recommend playing the first two before playing 3. You can still thoroughly enjoy 3, but some moments wont hit the same

Play all of them in order. They're all good games but the gunplay only gets better as the series goes on, so it's harder to go back if you ever want more of the same.
The story is nonsense so that doesn't matter, but the shooting is so fun.

All I said was true facts. All you said was "you will probably like it more if you play it out of order".

I can't imagine being able to play a series like BL back to back. Doesn't change enough and each game is too long.

But I also think the writing is bad and cringy
