I don't mean a game featuring a level based off of an old movie or a character who appeared in an old movie. I mean a one to one X Movie: The Video Game equation. Something like King Kong for the PlayStation 2 wouldn't count because it's based on the 2005 remake and not the 1933 original.

Pinocchio (1940) had a 1996 video game for Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Game Boy. Fantasia, which was released the same year, had a 1990 video game exclusive to the Genesis. But Pinocchio was released to theaters before Fantasia.

Has any film older than that had a video game? Did Snow White (1938) ever receive one?

Snow white and the seven clever boys came out in the 2000s

Unless it's specifically based on the 1938 movie, it doesn't count.

I think Three Stooges could maybe count but there's not a specific movie it was based on.

The NES/Playstation game was based on individual shorts, but not a movie.

1939. That's older than Pinocchio and Fantasia.
