But it's 100% just for ratings. Watch him with kids, or in the UK. While he definitely doesn't tolerate shit in the UK adult shows, and rightly tells people to sort their life out when they are feeding people uncooked food etc it's never quite as dramatic as the american version. --- ... He plays it up for entertainment on Hell's Kitchen, on Kitchen Nightmares he almost always takes a tit for tat approach and only gets mad when they melt down at him first or they do something so stupid and irresponsible that it actually warrants getting mad at them.
