Old man becomes an experiment to save humanity from a disease that came from a different dimension in order to save his daughter, when the experiment fails everyone becomes ghosts and the world becomes inhabited by androids that gained sentience but were originally suppose to become vessels for said ghosts, now the ghosts are angry and you got to save your daughter.
