God who knows what kinda fucked up conversations they have when I'm gone.

I just had a toques of hazard double white ipa and it was delicious. Little too much hops on the after taste but for a 9.2% double ipa fairly subdued.

Meanwhile this Stanley park trail hopper ipa lacks the strong hops after taste but has a really strong over hoppy flavor throughout.

I give toques of hazard an s tier for ipas, trail hopper a c tier, and my autocorrect an f tier for always thinking I wanna say iPad

Hell yeah I love fog. We got some last week. Couldn't see 10ft in front of me, it's so cool as long as you're not driving.

I didn't want to say anything about CAH tonight but I just talked to my gf and she's half asleep because we were up until 4am with her allergy kicking her ass. Then I woke up at 8am and that woke her up. We were going to have another game night tonight but it sounds like she's already falling asleep so we're putting that off until tomorrow.

SO i'm getting drunk, listening to tunes, and playing CAH/Xbox if @JimCarrysToe gets her ass in gear.

I like gallium cause of the way it reacts with aluminum. Dip a scratched aluminum bat into some gallium and let it do its thing and then boom! You got a vat you can crush with no effort.

Also saw lockpicicking lawyer use gallium to totally destroy a 300 dollar pad lock but I mean it takes a long time.

Well it looks like I'm throwing in the towel, I'm gonna take the steps toward quitting drinking. Went to the doc today and pretty bad fatty liver on the verge of liver failure. If that sets in its bye bye me and I'm not leaving the wife this young. I'll still help make and continue to participate in these topics, that wont change.

But yeah looking forward to withdrawal and no sleep woo

That's awful man. Honestly it'll take something like this to make most of us stop drinking. I'm glad you're continuing to hang in the topics but if they end up triggering you to drink then don't stick around.

How did you end up finding out? Was this part of a regular checkup or did you feel like something as wrong?

I figure i'm on a speeding train towards liver failure and marriage. I think that's what will get me to quit drinking. I tend to drink less when i'm with the gf. I only drink if she does, and she doesn't always want to drink so I figure that's how i'll eventually phase it out.

You have a mentality of not wanting to be the drunk one when you two are together. Yeah that will help you quit later on.

It's going to be a little harder for me since my wife tokes so much she doesn't say much about my drinking. Only time she cares is when I'm too drunk to get take out for her. Lol I've just learned to have dinner covered before I really start up.

He said your decision timeframe is about up. I'd decide by the end of the week to quit or not.

So its officially day 1 of sobriety for me. Even if I got on a list and could get a new liver I dont think I'd take it from someone who didn't willingly destroy it for recreation. I did it to myself and I'll always own that.

I imagine it's going to be very difficult to get used to just dropping the booze so suddenly. It's a big change. Hopefully you'll find things to keep you occupied and keep your mind off it. As someone else said, if the drinking topics tempt you, just back away, we'll understand.

@MabusIncarnate Obviously we're all here if you need and outlet or whatever little advice we might be able to give.

I'd be naive to think I won't be in that same place if I don't stop or at least cut back before long. A lot of us would.
