I've been playing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and noticed the drift happening. I can't remember if this is one I sent to Nintendo when I first got my switch to have them fix or if this is one that hasn't had the issue until now. I've gotta call Nintendo to see about getting it shipped to them for repair.

I bought one of the screwdrivers you need and the replacement sticks are less than $5. Mostly though it means you can fix it in 20 minutes yourself rather than wait 2-4 weeks.

I have a second set of joycons, so it's not a major deal to be without the joycon. Has the wait time really gone up to 2 - 4 weeks now? When I first sent one of my joycons in, they had it back to me within 3 days.

It's been slower since the pandemic started I think. But my friend got hers fixed in a week after she sent it. My brother had to wait longer though. I have another friend that sent his in recently but idk how long that took.

As an aside I do not know a single person that owns a Switch and has not had major drift show up lol
