Joke thread. There's no reasons for the internet to be regulated. No matter how terrible some things may be on it, no one is forcing you as an adult to view anything or post anything. You have your own free will and thought, and need to stop blaming other people for your choices

I dont think it should be regulated TBQH, but it is very much on the path to being so.

We thought about what could be done. Never about whether we should.

Memes went from being a dumb picture with wacky background + running joke to inciting violence.

I think as long term posters on a video game website, we were broken in to the internet. Understood trolls, jokes, people being "out to get you". Not everyone 50 uear old that finally decides to get a facebook has that same experience.

When i said your choices i wasn't targeting you specifically, but the millions of adults out there who blame other people for their actions. If you don't have an actual gun to your head, then no other adult should be blamed for what you choose to do. Its called a scapegoat

again, the point of the topic isn't that TC (me) wants it to be regulated.
the point is that there are a lot of world changing arguments popping up every day that would suggest we are heading towards a regulated internet.
