so i put more time into zhongli, with (lvl 64, w/ a lvl 50 favonious lance and rank 6 talents) and he's so good even at world level 7

completely replaced ganyu on my team, gonna have him use the battlepass spear when i get it next week and work on a set of artifacts for him

Not sure if I'm going to want a duplicate battle pass weapon, or to increase the rank for one. Ganyu already hits like a milk truck with her frosted flakes and the v bow sucks in trash enemies so it doesn't matter a ton if she deals extra damage for up to 8 ticks of sucking action. Especially useless against mobile bosses and large enemies who move around or teleport.

But then the um. Magic focus thing. The buff from it is huge so having another one to justify using another character with the weapon type is nice, but so would further boosting the strength for Mona.

Go fail a few times.
Go into armory and upgrade electro to lv4, maybe hydro too.
At a good point that all enemies go through near enemy spawn, place hydro closer to enemies, electro a little bit closer to your base, if you have points, place a recovery between so that it covers the whole field after the hydro tower.
Enemies get wrecked. Now you have points to place more, place hydro close to the other spawn point, and an electro closer to the point where enemy routes meet, again cover them in recovery.
.
Now you have a good setup, add a few other things like more electro, maybe a pyro, and place the same setup near your base, with a cryo past the bridge, then again hydro and electro, pyro to make sure enemies who got through will get finished off.
.
Long story short, electro-charged is broken in tower defense.
.
During this whole time, you can use someone like Klee or Diluc for breaking all enemy shields (cryo, geo, dendro). A cryo character can be abused to freeze enemies, too.

geo mc and zhongli create walls to block
jean/sucrose can push/pull off ledges
venti can delay

i'm having a blast with the event, got ~100 lanterns stocked up hoping it's enough

Besides those already mentioned

1. Veri whatever bow from the battle pass for the suction effect works wonders when it procs the absorbing thing, especially if you do it to draw enemies into a field of several aoe towers AND the range of a fire aoe tower
2. Ganyu charged shots to trigger cryo reactions is nice. FYI even if you don't hit the enemy directly, if the blossom hits them it can trigger the sucking effect of the previously mentioned bow. Her CD causes smaller enemies to usually sidestep it some but it doesn't drastically change their path or for very long even with 2 out (C2)
3. Childe charged attack during his CD has a deceptively large hitbox, great in areas where multiple enemy groups meet up if overlapping with cryo towers, the knockback is helpful against speedy ones
4. Spinning claymore users want to push enemies back and into other groups to mess up their path, knocking them to the side just means pushing them further from towers and they sometimes get back into line further down the path meaning you could accidentally save them from easy damage
5. Characters with long cool downs can be really bad or good depending on who else you pair them with. Xinyan has the claymore so that's helpful but don't expect to trigger reactions with her CD ever. Meanwhile fischl's CD would be good... But with how many electro sources you'll want, it's a pretty moot point except as a last resort.
6. Shields and the like don't matter so characters like Diona should use their shortened CD instead of a long one that only hits maybe an extra enemy
7. lmao imagine how useful amber might have been if we could use elemental bursts xD

I've got a C2 Mona and I'm wondering about full Wanderer's Troupe main DPS potential.

I am afraid to pull more on the Xiao banner. Trying to buffer the pity for Keqing constellations, which I have a little over 60 on the character banner. Knowing my luck, I'll get some other 5*, much like what happened with last weapon banner (was going for Amos Bow, instead got Wolf's Gravestone).

Oh well. At least my Xinyan's attack is 2800, with 53% crit rate and 110% crit damage.

If you're afraid to roll, why not just...not roll until the next banner?

why does mihoyo hate polearm users? only 3 in the game (nearly 4) and all but one of them are 5*. in every other weapon category no more than half the chars are 5*. we need more 4* polearm users

Liyue, a few characters already have voice lines for her. She works at the Heyu tea house

Didn't even need to ask the region for her. Names are really telling of region in this game, and "Yunjin" fits the Chinese lore of Liyue. Just like Ayaka is clearly Japanese, which fits neither Mondstat or Liyue, and "Tartaglia" isn't Japanese nor fits the English sounding names either.

I actually find it fascinating the game does it like this.

IMO voice and animation quality definitely aren't as good as what we usually get in Genshin, you can see it clearly if you pay attention to how her burst starts up, for example.
However, this is to be expected of an UNFINISHED character, so not sure why people are complaining, if they are.

Not always, like Mondstadt names dont make sense. Klee and Fischl are definitely fitting, but what about Diluc, Bennett, Razor, Sucrose? I don't really see a pattern.

You get that when a hilichurl grenadier cant unearth a pyro slime. Usually happens if you have them dig near the beach/in water.

IIRC there is an island in Liyue between the mainland and the eastern Liyue, where basically aggroing a churl instantly grants you that achievement, coz he's placed where he cant dig?

That and the vir whatever bow with Ganyu. Let me just charge my shot, apply cryo, suck you back in place, swap to a hydro character, then freeze you and laugh as they get nailed by some distant pyro towers.

Im going with Xinyan since I dont have her but Im tempted to C2 Ning since I hear its kind of broken for her.
