All he needed to do was call Hayter for the actual Big Boss and had Venom be vocied by Sutherland, but no.
Could have been close to MGS2 levels of deception and baiting but no, just dropped the ball real hard. It was even already setup amazingly well with Ground Zeroes even but then nothing. --- "Warwick are you jungling" "No I'm standing by the wolves because I miss my family" ... Copied to Clipboard!

Seems like it wasn't enough budget because Kiefer has a handful of lines and spends most cutscenes just being talked at by all the other characters.
