Huh, what makes a church explicitly anti-LGBT? Do they have like a giant sign out in front saying, "You know who you are. You can't come in here."?

Apparently there website calls for death to LGBT people though the guy that mentioned that before got modded for some reason.

Well, tbf, churches are kind of special/exempt buildings.

They're not really a business so they're free to preach whatever they want.

Even though it's atrocious, it's unfortunate they got bombed. All it really does now is reinforce their negative preconceptions of people.

Yeah, but sometimes things are brushed aside depending on certain situations. Like people saying they hope trump would have died aren't really met with confrontation because a lot of people dislike him and probably secretly wanted him to die.

Nah, I really care about everyone - I dont have much sympathy for people who take a religion that I want to connect to and repurpose it to have disgusting views because I feel compelled as a religious person myself to do my part from the inside out to correct that

but apart from that I also dont dig violence against others, much less bombings that can affect innocent bystanders

it's weird how people don't wanna acknowledge dehumanization (which hate speech is a part of) as the beginning of a process that allows people inflict all types of evils on each other

and one of the things Hitler did that gained him support was using Jewish people, amongst others, as scapegoats for much of what was wrong in Germany

This is very true although why you Godwin'd to Hitler and not the topical American example of Trump is odd.

But I don't get how this justifies blowing up buildings.

You think the Nazis or Trump which never had majority support from the population in their rise to power would have been curbed if people blew up buildings?

You think if someone blew up on of Trump's hotels or golf courses he wouldn't have become president?
If someone blew up a National Socialism recruitment base they would have gone "Oh well hanz, guess zis is eet. Let's go become nuns instead ja?"

Pointing out that bigots are stupid and evil doesn't seem like a justification for going around blowing up buildings to me.

I'm damn near positive that this was actually done by a member of the church. The real question is whether it was a false flag, or if someone was making or storing a bomb there and it went off on its own. The graffiti would point toward false flag.
